Is it recommended to set only one costing method for all company items?
Even NAV can manage multiple costing methods for your items, you need to ask to your accounting or Tax department. In Mexico you need to define a unique costing method for all of your items and you need to maintain that method for at least 5 years.
Please define this prior to start operations because you can have problems later if you want to change the method.
Its not recommended.
It depends on company policy and you can set different costing method for different items.
