I got in charge of a project where one of our companies will use Nav and an external consultant is providing development and implemention.
My knowledge about Nav is growing, but not perfect. If there are new request I try to validate the answer and ideas of our consultant.
However, in one case I can't really believe there is no built in option in Nav.
We sell goods directly from the vendor to the customer in some cases. This can be easily achieved by Drop Shipments or Special Orders. So far so good.
However, our Sales guys would buy a bigger amount of goods at one vendor (getting a better price) and telling the vendor to ship it to 2 or more different customers.
What I would need is a drop shipment but one where it is possible to link the PO to multiple SOs (also to split the freight costs inbetween). Is this possible somehow?
I have a question, why don't you separate you PO from 1 PO into many POs, then ship to each of Customer?
Hi Its not Out-of-box functionality. Without customization its not possible .
