I'm looking to import data from a table I have in 2017 from an addon into Business Central.So I exported the data via Export-NAVAppTableData and I've created a TAB3102XXXX.navxdata file.Included this file into my AL project, but how do I map this data into my new table since the table ID is different? Do I have to use a codeunit to load the data or is there another way?
NOTE: Already Used this but not working:
codeunit 50100 UploadData
Subtype = Install;
I think, you can use navxdata files only for same table ID, because there is no table number parameter in Import-NAVData command.
You can use Configuration package to export-import such data.
1. Export data from your table to excel
2. Open excel file and in first row change table name and number on needed.
3. Create package with same name and needed table on destination database and import your excel file there.
You are right the ID has to be the same.
