I have installed the NAV client 2018 software onto a new laptop.
When I start the program in Windows, the application opens briefly but then closes again as quick. I am not getting any error messages when it does this, the window just closes.
All the settings in the ClientUserSettings look to be correct. All other Micorost programs are working ok e.g. Outlook, Excel etc
I tried launching the program under another user's profile but got the same result.
I uninstalled and then re-installed the software but still get the same issue.
I am not sure whether this is a Windows or a NAV issue at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should check?
Best is to look in the application event log file on this PC to find out what the error is. The application log file can be found under Windows logs in "eventvwr" which you can start via Start / Run.
Hi, as Marco said, you should check the event log. Then you should see more details.
