I am using LS Nav 2017 for my point of sale. When a item is scanned it returns a value quiet late. Also when the transaction is posted at the end it takes a lot of time. What can be the possible issues causing these. The client and server performances are not an issue. The network latency between the server and client is also not an issue.

The item is entered at 1:20 and the transaction is completed at 1.49
There can be a lot of causes for this issue. Everything from the hardware you are running on or some configuration issues.

Rebuilt tables indexes / check database log file size
