Is there a way calculate only the 'on-hand' inventory when using the Availability by BOM level report?
Currently, the report calculates receipts (for purchased items) that are not yet received.
Having to drill into each item is time consuming and we find many are 'past due' orders.
We are trying to see the 'true' shortage items using this method.
Have you tried running the Prod. Order Shortage List? This is a good report showing what is not on-hand for Production Orders. You can run Availability Projections, but this will be for all Items. Lastly, you can create a Jet Reports:
