Hi, is there a way to update jquery without upgrading the entire NAV? Customer is using NAV 2016.
Thanks in advance.
I am not sure about your question. But Dynamics NAV 2016 is already out of mainstream support. So i strongly recommend you upgrade the solution anyway.
Hi Inge, thanks for the quick reply. During customer's internal security audit, there was finding being reported, indicating that the jQuery version (v2.1.0) being used is outdated. Partner advised that in order to upgrade the jQuery version, they are required to perform an upgrade to a later version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Therefore, they would like to have confirmation if there are any other ways to proceed with the upgrade of jQuery component, without upgrading the entire application.
Yes NAV 2016 is already out of mainstream support, but it is still under extended support until 2026. Customer is looking into a quick solution to close the security finding (if possible).
