We have a client using NAV2017 and they use database logins (not connected to AD).
where some users experience performance problems
If we let a user with performance problem login to a new user id (database user login) we can see that the performance improves a lot for the new user.
We have tried to delete the user customizations first on the user id experiencing performance problems, but we can not see any difference in performance after the change
How can it be that a new user has good performance and old user ids are slow?Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Hi, This sounds odd, according to your test, this has nothing to do with the user's PC and the client program, because the performance is improved by changing the ID. So is there any customization for user IDs in this NAV 2017? For example, when opening the page or processing data, the user ID is used for filtering, etc.?If it can't be solved, it is recommended to submit it to Microsoft.
NAV 2017 is still being supported.
Hope this helps.Thanks
