I would be interested in hearing from experienced users if in their opinion the Inventory Valuation report is accurate? I just purchased a store and have been conflicting information as to whether it is an accurate report. It appears to me that you can go back in time and get valuation from prior periods and I have tried doing it on different days to see if the numbers change and they don't. But the Inventory Valuation and the Value List give different amounts so perhaps somebody can explain the difference to me.
Hi! I'm assuming that you are on RMS version 2.02 (in RMS Manager go to "help" and then "about store operations" to see the version number)? I do get asked this question from time to time - rather than go in to a long explanation, you can see detailed information about these various reports (and how they are calculated) in the printed RMS Manager/Store Operations users guide or via the help screen in RMS Manager.
