Dear Reader

we are facing once issue that every financial year, we are creating a new Journal Names (Voucher Series), the issue is, one financial year journal may be using for preceding year or upcoming FY.

in this regard there may be need of passing / reversal multiple journals

in short: :

Validation Checks: Implement validation checks within your accounting software or system to ensure that the correct Journal Names are used for each financial year transaction. This could include checks based on the fiscal year associated with each Journal Name./

is it can be possible ?

Hi,

1st option, as Billur suggested try to create a new number sequence each year.

2nd Option, you need to go for customization, no standard option. you can add a field called "year" to journal names. and add a parameter only current year is allowed for posting in this way, you can control journal names year wise
