Outlook Ribbon Issue

Outlook uses a completely different extensibility model for add-ins, and the CRM product group can only work within those Outlook constraints. So you are unable to customize the main application ribbon that appears when you select the CRM tab in Outlook.

Of course, you can customize the form ribbons for CRM for Outlook users, because those are just web forms initiated from Outlook.

I agree to you. But I think microsoft should provide some supported way to modify outlook ribbon (atleast CRM related buttons) to have consistency with web.
