I've been trying to use the Service Calendar resource in our company CRM system and I am having some difficulties understanding the process of creating an actual service successfully.
I have added the service and set a rule as 'Select 1 from any site.'
When I go to add a particular service to the calendar I've had so many different error messages, none if which actually help me to understand what the issue is.
- The service Event Management does not have the capacity
-The resources available for the selected dates or times do not meet the minimum resource requirements for this service
- Service selection rules for the required service Event Management cannot be met. To see selection rules, open the record for this service ( I dont know why the rules are not met)
- Service selection rules for the required user NAME cannot be met. To see selection rules, open the record for this service.
Can somebody please help me with this?
You might review this blog post - it walks through the process and requirements. It is for CRM 4.0 but 2011 won't be much different.
