Dear team,

As per the customer requirement, I need to develop ER report with use of classes like
Controller

Contract

The parameter will be From date and To date. And there will be many calculation required to fetch data from vendor related.

I never worked on this earlier.

Kindly please guide me how I will proceed from scratch.

They like to run the report from AP module from D365FO workspace.

Please let me know the step by step please.

Hi,

I wonder about the business process and the gap that needs to be filled. A customer requirement is to be able to complete a certain task, not to ask you to develop some classes for ER.

Can you explain the exact requirement functionally? What should the Electronic Report do? I do understand the trigger is a manual action from the user interface.

Hi Andre, as per the high level discussion with management, they like to move almost SSRS report to ER report.

So, the report which I posted is one of them. I am new to ER report. So, I am asking about the process from scratch.

Hope you understand now.

Kindly pls provide me anyone the input which I can follow to proceed the ER report instead of wasting time .

We have applied the same approach by creating a custom table and/or class that the report can run against. With this method, you will need to develop:

A custom table

A custom ER configuration

A custom print button

This ensures the ER report can be executed correctly based on your custom data and requirements.
