How to choose which event to choose in BC.

Hello all,

I have Keenly observed that for a custom field in BC to have a similar functionality to that of Microsoft base objects we need to make use of the Events of that particular object.

Now , my requirement is to find out how to choose a correct Event out of many similar Looking Events and the Events which have Similar Functionality....

Could someone please understand on how to select the Event????
