File-based integration with third system

Hello community,

We're building file-based integration with the third system. Export of csv or xml file should be real-time when pressing button in Ax, using batch integration is not possible. Could you, please, give me a tip on how to export the file to the network drive or cloud storage in X++? Can't find any examples.

Moved from Dynamics AX forum.

In F&O, you can use data management APIs for file-based integration. You can, for example, raise a business event on a button click and start a Power Automate flow on the event. In the flow, you'll call a package API to export the data, extract it if needed and and store the file(s) where you like.
