Azure Data Factory Send D365 F&O data to Azure SQL Database

Using Azure Data Factory pipeline, Is it possible to copy data from D365 F&O entities and write them to Azure SQL database? I need to be able to schedule these updates and only push incremental changes to the entities since the last push. Let me know if you have done this before and what the prerequisites would be. Can you connect to Dynamics 365 F&O through ADF directly?

Hi,

You cannot connect directly to F&O via ADF. You can refer to this official document: Copy and transform data in Dynamics 365 (Microsoft Dataverse) or Dynamics CRM - Azure Data Factory & Azure Synapse | Microsoft Learn. In this article it is made clear that, this connector doesn't support other application types like Finance, Operations, and Talent.
