Issue with Team Member License

Hey everyone!

I recently came across an issue where I am switching some of my users from Sales Enterprise licenses to team member licenses. I wasn't too familiar with all the changes, so I tried to test it with my /Normal/ user account (I have an admin account where I do all my development and customizations with). I had a team member license assigned to my normal account and assigned roles in our UAT environment, but the admin center still says I have a sales enterprise license. It's been 2 days now and still no changes.

A couple questions: Do Team Member licenses have access to other environments? Also, why are the changes to license not applying?

Things I've tried: Confirmed in Microsoft Admin Center that I have a team member license (not sales enterprise), removed all security roles and only assigned the basic team member permissions, had SD remove me from the AD group and readd multiple times (to try reassigning license).

Honestly, any ideas help!

    Hi,
Have you removed the Sales Enterprise licenses from users in the admin center.
And licences are tenant based and team member licences are limited to accessing the application, not environments:

If you want to prevent users access other environments, you need use security groups.
--If your company has multiple environments, you can use security groups to control which licensed users can be members of a particular environment.

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it answer your question! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
