ModelDrivenFormintegration not working on embedded canvas app in D365 PowerApp

Hi all
I've embedded a canvas app on a modeldriven app and most of the steps appear to have functioned absolutely fine:
1) I used the classic to create and embed on a field that is always populated
2) ModelDrivenFormIntegration appeared as expected in the PowerApps studio
3) I built a gallery that filtered with the following /Filter('MyCustomTale'.Contact.'ID' = [@ModelDrivenFormIntegration].Item.'ID')/. This returned the correct information in the PowerApps Studio.
4) To make absolutely sure I changed the Canvas App title label to also be the ID and it displayed as expected in the PowerApps Studio.
5) I also added another gallery that supplied the table data unfiltered.
5) The App renders in the form but returns no values on the filtered gallery. The unfiltered gallery is fine.

Clearly the App is not receiving the values from ModelDrivenFormIntegration, but I have no idea why. Any ideas?

Thanks Dengliang Li - you're approach works but isn't a fix I don't think as there seems to be a mismatch between the ModelDrivenFormIntegration its refresh function. Using some suggestions I found elsewhere, I tried to populate a variable at OnDataRefresh. The variable *didn't* work, but the act of doing it caused the gallery *to work* (essentially the same as sticking a referential contact on the form). I'm guessing it's something I don't quite understand about the way the Gallery relates to the underlying data and the ModelDrivenFormIntegration OnDataRefresh when it opens in the Model Driven App...

    Hi,

In my testing, I added a Contact ID field to the Fom1 control.

Filter in the gallery's items to display the contacts that have the same contact ID as the Form1 control ( Only the contact of the current record is displayed).

The final result is shown below.
