How to show external document number field in G/L Registers as the same column showed in General Ledger and Vendor Ledger Entries?. This will serve as additional reference at a glance upon viewing G/L Registers in Dynamics NAV RTC.
it's not possible, because one G/L Register can contain many G/L Entries, so many External document numbers.

This is not possible and the reason is because there might be more than one external document number involved in a single GL register,
For example if you post several lines in a Vendor journal and they each have a different external document number you will have several external doc numbers related to one GL register entry
