I want to install D365FO on laptop. Please guide the minimum hardware configuration of the laptop?. Thank you.
Do you want to install and run a local VM for testing/developing purposes?
Note: D365FO is a cloud based solution that you run in a webbrowser.
There is nothing per se that you would have to install on your laptop unless you want to run a local VM.
If you want to provision VM on your laptop which is the only thing you can do on your laptop make sure you to have high configuration of your laptop. Note , D365 cloud or on premise version are not possible to install on the laptop. If you are talking about on premise deployment , just search on premise installation on the web and you will get system requirements and architecture for it.
You can download the dev VM from LCS and run it on your laptop. You should have at least 4 cores, 16 GB RAM and SSD disk (and about 100 GB free space) to run it ok. 24 GB RAM would be better so that you have 16 GB just for the VM.
You should have an Microsoft id,onmicrosoft.com attached with your company ID, to authenticate in admin provisioning while configuring your vhd file.
