I am unable to see an option for "Add Family" or "Add Bundle" in the menu bar for products. I also have no discount list options. I have the Sales for Professional license (currently as a trial) and I am a System Administrator.
All the articles I have read show these options when you open products, why can't I see them?
Are you referring about the below highlighted buttons?
This is from a trial account I just created. Also are you using the standard sales app?
Can you try accessing from another browser or try after clearing the cache.
Please mark as verified if this was helpful.
Yes those are the buttons, they do not appear for me. Using he Sales Professional App. Tried Edge and Chrome after clearing cache and no change.
If I am not wrong, this is one of the difference between Sales Pro & Sales Enterprise i.e. enterprise will give you an option to manage the complete products whereas in pro you can only create products.
You can refer below specific documentation-
Hope this helps.
Users with the Sales for Professional license do not have access to Product Families, Product Hierarchies and Product Relationships.
This is why you can't see the Add Family option.

In addition, from the documentation shared by Ravi, Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional does not provide the functionality of Add Bundle.
So this is by design.
Sorry missed the app part, i was focused on the admin role. Anyways Ravi and Lu jao have answered your question. Please mark them as verified answers so that it will help other community members who have the same or similar questions.
I suspected this might be the case but after looking at a comparison table, see image below, it looked as though there was no difference to the "products" part with a specific mention of "product bundles" available to both licenses.....
Anyway, many thanks for you clear and informative answer.
