What's happening?
When opening views in Dynamics 365 Power Apps, the columns do not initially display in full width. This behavior resolves temporarily upon refreshing the page but reoccurs while browsing within the app.
Reason:
This can occur when the setting "New look for model-driven apps" is disabled in the environment.
Resolution:
To resolve this, follow these steps:
- Navigate to make.powerapps.com.
- Select your environment.
- Go to Apps and select the affected application.
- Click on Settings.
- Select Features.
- Enable New look for model-driven apps.
Additionally, ensure that the affected views are using the Power Apps grid control. See Power Apps grid control - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn for steps to enable this control
The Power Apps grid control is the recommended and supported grid control moving forward, and it resolves the column width display issue.
