What's happening?
Users have reported accessibility behaviors due to colored highlights applied to labels. This specifically impacts users who are color blind, making it difficult for them to distinguish highlighted fields clearly.
Reason:
This behavior is caused by the "Enable OptionSet color" setting being activated within the Power Apps grid control for the affected entity.
Resolution:
To resolve this, follow these steps:
- From the model app, navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings.
- Select Customization and then click on Customize the System.
- Locate and select the affected entity (e.g., Case entity).
- Click on Controls and select the Power Apps grid control.
- Locate the setting "Enable OptionSet colors" then select the Edit button for this setting.
- Toggle the setting to No then click Ok..
- Save and publish the changes.
- Any users currently logged in to the environment, should use Ctrl+F5 to refresh the page for the changes take effect.
More information about configuring the Power Apps grid control is at Power Apps grid control - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn.
