What’s happening?
When using the rich text editor control in Dynamics 365, contents are not displaying correctly when editing records or viewing records. This can include images not displaying as expected or HTML tags are shown.
Reason:
The Rich Text Editor (RTE) control was not configured for the field on all relevant forms, causing images to appear incorrectly or as HTML code when editing or viewing records.
Resolution:
To resolve this, ensure the Rich Text Editor (RTE) control is configured for the specific field (for example, the "Description" field) in all relevant forms.
