What's happening?

Customer reported concerns regarding the alignment of messages within the Dynamics 365 conversation panel. Specifically, customer and bot messages appear aligned to the left, while agent messages appear aligned to the right.

Reason:

The observed message alignment behavior is by design.

Resolution:

The current alignment of messages in the Dynamics 365 conversation panel is functioning as intended. Specifically:

  • System messages, bot messages, and agent/customer service representative messages are aligned to the right side.
  • Customer messages are aligned to the left side.

If a different alignment or customization is desired, customers are advised to log their suggestions on the Dynamics Ideas portal, as this behavior is currently by design and not configurable.
