What's happening?

Customers experience below when creating new events, specifically:

  • The event registration website does not complete.
  • The event registration page does not allow selection of the intended registration form.
  • After registration form and event activation, the event does not generate a standalone URL.

Reason:

Real-time events support only real-time marketing forms by default. Outbound marketing forms and real-time marketing forms are distinct types, and currently, there is no capability to add an outbound marketing form to a real-time event.

Resolution:

To resolve this, customers should use real-time marketing (RTM) forms when working with real-time events. Outbound marketing forms cannot be used with real-time events. Customers should refer to the following documentation for guidance: Set up an event | Microsoft Learn.

If customers encounter issues with form selection or URL generation, they should ensure they are using the correct type of form (real-time marketing form) compatible with real-time events.
