What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues when attempting to use the "Trial Balance with Transaction Details" feature, specifically encountering pop-up blocker messages and delays when processing large transaction datasets.


Reason:
This arises due to the browser's pop-up blocker settings, which prevent the necessary windows from opening. Additionally, when processing large amounts of transaction data, the system may take longer to generate reports, prompting messages recommending batch mode execution.


Resolution:

  1. Adjust Browser Settings:
  2. Open the settings page of the browser (Edge or Chrome).
  3. Navigate to the "Settings > Pop-ups and redirects" menu.
  4. Add the URL of the environment being tested to the list of allowed sites for pop-ups.
  5. Using the Feature:
  6. When generating reports, if a message appears stating, "This process may take some time due to a large amount of transaction data. It is recommended to run the report in batch mode. Do you want to continue with the current selection?" it is advisable to proceed with batch mode to avoid performance issues.
  7. Batch Job Confirmation:
  8. Navigate to "System Administration > Inquiries > Batch Jobs."
  9. Search for the executed batch job and ensure its status is "Completed."
  10. Open the details of the batch job to download or view the output report.
  11. For Batch Execution:
  12. Go to "Organization Management > Electronic Reporting > Electronic Reporting Jobs."
  13. Select the completed task from the list and click on "View File" to access the report.
