What’s happening?
Customers have concerns regarding the customization of the application dashboard and the possibilities to create pop-up news bulletins or notifications to users about specific events and activities.
Reason:
The current standard design limits personalization of the application workspace and does not support the out-of-the-box functionality as requested.
Resolution:
- To personalize and add tiles, lists, and links to the workspace, refer to the documentation on how to Personalize the user experience - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft.

- Alerts and notifications can be triggered upon user-defined events and displayed in the Action Center or as pop-ups when the event occurs. For more details on setting up automated alerts, see the following documents:
