What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing an installation failure when attempting to install the Expense Management App in various environments. Specifically, the app fails to appear under "All Apps" in Power Apps after installation.
Reason:
The installation failure is attributed to the user lacking the necessary permissions to execute the update. In some cases, the app was not shared by the FO system admin, preventing visibility in the Power Apps interface.
Resolution:
- Ensure that the user attempting the installation has the appropriate administration security role in Finance and Operations.
- If the app does not appear after installation, verify that the app has been shared with the user by the FO system admin.
- If the app was previously installed and is not visible, check the Power Platform Admin Center to confirm the app's status and ensure it is listed under the correct environment.
- If issues persist, consider reaching out to the Engineering team to run a specific script to disable duplicate SDK messages, which may be causing the installation issues.
