What’s happening?
Customers encounter an error when trying to access vouchers for various transactions, including receipt, pick, and invoice vouchers for sales orders (SO), purchase orders (PO), and service segments. The error message indicates an "Invalid column name 'SYSROWVERSION'."

Reason:
This arose after deploying version 41, which may be related to the "SQL row version change tracking" feature that is enabled in the environment.

Resolution:

  • To reproduce this, perform the following steps:
  • Create a purchase order (PO) and receive it, then try to access the receive voucher.
  • Create a PO and invoice it, then try to access the invoice voucher.
  • Create a sales order (SO) and pick it, then try to access the pick voucher.
  • Create a SO and invoice it, then try to access the invoice voucher.
  • Create a service segment and invoice it, then try to access the invoice voucher.
  • If the issue persists, further investigation may be required to determine the root cause and potential workarounds. If necessary, escalate the case to the appropriate technical team for assistance.
  • For future occurrences, ensure to document the business impact and operational status to facilitate the escalation process if needed.
  • If the issue has been resolved, a root cause analysis should be requested to prevent recurrence.
  • If no specific resolution steps are available, refer to the case for further assistance.
