What’s happening?
The customer needs assistance with placing a production environment into maintenance mode and notifying vendors who access the system through the Vendor portal.
 

Reason:
This arises from the need to enable maintenance mode on a production machine while ensuring that vendors are properly informed.
 

Resolution:

  1. Refer to the standard document titled "Maintenance mode - Finance & Operations" available on Microsoft Learn, which provides detailed instructions on how to turn maintenance mode on and off in both sandbox and production environments.
  2. It is confirmed that the user can proceed with taking the maintenance mode from their end without needing to raise a support ticket, as this information is already covered in the standard documentation.
  3. If further assistance is required, a remote session can be scheduled to provide additional support.
