What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties activating users for the Fiveforty integrator on the support environment. The error message indicates that the user does not exist in Microsoft Entra ID, and authorization is required.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this appears to be related to the user not being present in the Microsoft Entra ID directory, which prevents successful activation.
Resolution:
- Verify that the user email address exists in the Microsoft Entra ID directory and is correct.
- Ensure that the user has a valid license assigned in the Office 365 admin center.
- Check for any directory synchronization issues that may prevent the user from being recognized in the system.
- If the issue is related to interactive sessions, request the customer to provide the browser session ID/Activity ID and the datetime of the issue, including the time zone.
- Instruct the customer to reproduce the issue by following the standard process and to share the trace file with the include parameter enabled.
- If the customer is unresponsive, follow up with a final email and consider closing the case if no further assistance is required.
