What’s happening?
The customer requires the continued use of the deprecated job card terminal until the end of 2026, despite it being unsupported and potentially removed from the environment.
Reason:
The job card terminal is set to be deprecated after the release of version 10.0.41, as indicated in the documentation regarding removed or deprecated features in the relevant software.
Resolution:
- The customer is advised to transition to the Production Floor Execution (PFE) feature, as the job card terminal will not be supported by the Microsoft Support Team and may be completely removed from the system.
- It is recommended to review the documentation on removed or deprecated features to understand the implications of using the job card terminal beyond its deprecation date.
