What’s happening?
The alternative product number option is not functioning as expected, leading to confusion during product configuration and order processing.
Reason:
The behavior experienced is expected when the quantity on the sales order line exceeds the available inventory. In such cases, a pop-up notification will appear regardless of the site or warehouse in use.
Resolution:
- During the troubleshooting process, it was confirmed that this is not a defect in the product itself.
- To ensure the functionality works as expected, clear the item from all levels and ensure the count is zero.
- Test the functionality again in the same manner as demonstrated during the support call. If further issues arise, please reach out for additional assistance.
