What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing an incorrect calculation of catch weight variance for items in the movement journal, where quantities exceed the maximum allowable limits.
Reason:
The adjustment is based on the maximum and minimum quantity for the item. The system performs adjustments when it detects that the current catch weight is less than the minimum catch weight or more than the maximum catch weight.
Resolution:
- The system will adjust the catch weight to the minimum if it is less than the minimum catch weight.
- The system will adjust the catch weight to the maximum if it is more than the maximum catch weight.
- Review the catch weight setup for the item in question to ensure that the quantities are within the specified limits. If the quantities exceed the maximum, investigate how the journal lines were created and the rationale behind exceeding the maximum quantity.
