What’s happening?
Customers experience unexpected behavior with the auto-complete list in Microsoft Edge, where the system auto-focuses to the search textbox without auto-filling values into the filter panel or form, and may scroll up to the general section after selecting an auto-fill suggestion.
Reason:
This is caused by customized controls that may require further investigation by the developer.
Resolution:
- To resolve this of the auto-complete list item in the filter panel not auto-filling, enable the legacy navigation bar by setting it to true on the System administration > Setup > Client performance options page.
- For the issue of the auto-complete list item in the form scrolling up to the general section, further investigation is needed as this behavior persists after selecting an auto-fill suggestion. If a standard control is not found, consider temporarily archiving the case until a solution is identified.
