What’s happening?
The customer is unable to remove an alert notification due to an error indicating that event rules may not be defined on the SysLastValue table that stores event records.
 

Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that the alert rule is set in a way that prevents deletion, and the trigger associated with the alert is still present on the SysLastValue table.
 

Resolution:

  • A delete script was executed on the production environment to remove the alert notification.
