What’s happening?
When selecting the "Information" option for the "Message when exceeding credit limit" in the credit and collection parameters, the customer inquires about the behavior of the system and how it differs from a warning message.

Reason:
The behavior of the "Information" and "Warning" settings in the credit and collection parameters allows users to proceed with their operations. However, the distinction lies in the type of message displayed: a non-blocking error message in red for "Information" and a warning message in yellow for "Warning."

Resolution:

  • When the "Message when exceeding credit limit" is set to "Information," a red non-blocking error message is displayed, but the user can still complete their intended operation.
  • When set to "Warning," a yellow warning message is displayed, and the process can continue as well.
  • Both settings permit the user to execute their operations, but the visual feedback differs based on the selected option.
