What’s happening?
The error message displayed is: "The window could not be opened. Please check your pop-up blocker settings and add an exception." This issue occurs when attempting to open URL links in attachments from customers or vendors.


Reason:
This is identified as a design behavior related to the handling of URL attachments within the application environment.


Resolution:

  • Ensure that the URL is added as a trusted site in the browser settings.
  • Allow pop-ups in the browser settings for the application.
  • If the issue persists, check the following:
  • Open browser developer tools and switch to the network tab.
  • Filter on "/views/original/status" and check the response status for any timeouts.
  • Verify that all URLs mentioned in the documentation are whitelisted.
  • Check if a VPN is running and if any of the URLs are blocked by the VPN.
  • If the problem continues, consider that it may not be user-specific but an overall issue affecting multiple users.
