What’s happening?
Count journal lines are being created with a date corresponding to the previous day when the batch job is executed, rather than the current date.

Reason:
The system does not support automatically updating the date to the day the batch job is executed. The counting date used is based on the parameters selected when the batch job was created.

Resolution:

  • The system treats the "Counting date" the same way as other parameters provided when creating the batch job. It will always use the counting date selected at the time of batch job creation.
  • Users can potentially use any date in the counting journal line, but the posting will not change based on the execution date of the batch job.
  • If the batch job is set to run daily, it will continue to use the same date and journal name as specified during the initial setup. If there are discrepancies, it may indicate customizations affecting the expected behavior.
