What’s happening?
Time and Attendance system displays incorrect time due to timezone discrepancies, leading to confusion in time entries and approvals.

Reason:
This appears to be related to user-specific timezone settings that may not align with the system's expected configurations. In some cases, the timezone for a specific user changes unexpectedly, causing a mismatch in recorded times.

Resolution:

  1. Verify if the affected user is using a specific device for their registrations. If so, check the following:
  2. Navigate to System Administration | Setup | Microsoft Entra ID Applications and locate the device user ID.
  3. Once the User ID is identified, go to System Administration | Users | Users | User Options in the upper menu and check the Time Zone settings.
  4. Ensure that the user’s timezone is set correctly and matches the expected timezone for their location.
  5. If the issue persists, have the user perform a Clock-In from the PFE (Production Floor Execution) interface without using the specific device to see if the time logs correctly.
  6. If the problem continues, consider creating a new Profile with rows for Clock-In and Clock-Out, ensuring that the Start Day and End Day are the same unless the shift crosses midnight. Use Profile Staggering for day shifts as needed.
  7. Monitor the situation and gather session information if the issue occurs again for further investigation.
