What’s happening?
Customers are unable to publish formulas within production orders via "Open in Microsoft Office" when the order is in the status of "Scheduled" or higher. An error message is encountered stating that a row update in the data set was not published due to write validation failure.

Reason:
The system is designed to allow changes only for production orders with the status "Created." When a production order is in the "Scheduled" status, it is typically locked to prevent changes that could disrupt the production schedule.

Resolution:

  • Ensure that the production order status is set to "Created" before attempting to publish any formulas.
  • If changes are necessary for production orders with a status of "Scheduled" or higher, consider reversing the production order status to "Created" before making updates.
