What’s happening?
The mobile app detour is not sending back fields to select, specifically for item inquiries and location transfers. This results in the inability to complete packing or transfer operations within the mobile application.
 

Reason:
The underlying cause of this is related to the configuration of detours in the mobile app, which may not be properly set to return the necessary fields for item IDs and container types. Additionally, there may be issues with the detour functionality not prompting for required inputs during operations.
 

Resolution:

  • Ensure that all required features for detours are enabled by default in the system.
  • Review the configuration of detours from the mobile device menu items to ensure they are set up correctly.
  • For item inquiries, verify that the detour is configured to allow for the selection of shipment options.
  • For location transfers, check that the detour prompts for the quantity to be moved from the specified location.
