What’s happening?
The cross docking location directive queries are not being respected during the creation of cross docking templates. The expected behavior is that the mode of delivery should be adhered to, but instead, the first cross docking put location directive is utilized to create work.

Reason:
The underlying cause appears to be related to the configuration of location policies for the work order type 'Put'. If these policies are not set up correctly, the system may default to using the first available policy instead of respecting the specified directives.

Resolution:

  • Verify that the location policy for the work order type 'Put' is configured correctly.
  • Ensure that the final location of the goods to be dispatched is determined by the location policy for 'Transfer Issuance' for the 'Put' work order type.
  • If the policies are not configured correctly, the system can default to using the first available policy, which may lead to the observed issue.
  • Review the settings currently in use for the policies and the steps taken until the error occurs to identify any discrepancies.
