What’s happening?
Outbound sorting is not issuing any transactions in the outbound sorting position assignments.
 

Reason:
This arises when the data in the outbound sorting position assignments form is not fetched correctly, which is dependent on the packed containers being sorted for the shipments generated from the outbound load planning workbench.
 

Resolution:

  • Ensure that the following configurations are correctly set up:
  • Location Directive
  • WORK Template
  • Work Class
  • Outbound sorting templates
  • Container packing profiles
  • Verify that the mobile device menu items have been updated to reflect the changes made.
  • Confirm that the packed containers are being sorted for the shipments as expected.
  • Once the above configurations are validated, the customer should be able to close the positions in the form and proceed with the sorting process for shipment dispatch.
