What’s happening?
The customer is seeking guidance on how to modify and delete a personal template created through the release product details form in the "Product information management" module.
Reason:
Dynamics 365 does not provide a direct way to modify personal templates. The design for personal templates is different from shared templates, and they are stored as usage data. System templates are stored in the table SysRecordTemplateTable, whereas user templates are stored within the SysLastValue (Usage data).
Resolution:
To resolve this, follow these steps: 1. Delete the existing personal template. 2. To delete a personal product template, open the "Apply template" button from the released products screen, select the template, and use the shortcut key (specific shortcut not provided). 3. If the shortcut does not work, alternatively go to User options > Usage data > Record templates and reset the usage data. 4. After deletion, create a new personal template as needed.
