What’s happening?
Weights and volumes are not visible against the sales order lines in the outbound load planning workbench, unlike the old load planning workbench where these fields are displayed by default.
Reason:
The visibility of the "Shipments" tab, which includes the weight and volume fields, is defined by a specific setup, namely, the "Plan by Shipment" field under Transportation Parameters. If this field is not enabled, the "Shipments" tab will not appear on the Outbound Load Planning Workbench.
Resolution:
- Verify if the "Plan by Shipment" field is enabled under Transportation Parameters. If it is not enabled, enable this field to allow the "Shipments" tab to appear.
- Check if there is any custom code in the environment that might be affecting the visibility of the weight and volume fields.
- If the fields are still not visible, attempt to add them through columns and save a personalized view in the outbound load planning workbench.
- If necessary, schedule a screenshare meeting to further investigate the issue and confirm the setup with the customer.
