What’s happening?
The VendBatch step is missing in the device steps for the warehouse management system (WMS) application. This issue affects the visibility and configuration of VendBatchId, VendBatchDate, and VendExpiryDate in the device steps.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is identified as a design limitation within the system, which prevents the configuration of certain fields in the device steps. Specifically, the system does not allow the addition of new fields to the form that were not previously available.
Resolution:
- The promoted fields can only be used to adjust the priority of existing fields that are already visible in the steps, and new fields cannot be added through configuration.
