The cost centre field under the purchase order line is not editable when accessing through the workspace "Purchase Order Receipt and Follow-Up" using the tile "All Purchase Orders." However, it is editable when accessed through the workspace "Purchase Order Preparation" using the tile "All Drafts."


Reason:
This arises because the workspace "Purchase Order Receipt and Follow-Up" utilizes the PurchTable, and the permissions for the line financial dimension are controlled manually. In the standard environment, the privilege "Maintain Purchase Order Details" is set to allow updates for the financial dimension line. In the affected environment, this privilege does not have the necessary permissions set for the display menu item PurchTable and the control for the financial dimension line.


Resolution:

  1. Verify the permissions for the privilege "Maintain Purchase Order Details" in the affected environment.
  2. Ensure that the permission is set to "Update" for the financial dimension line.
  3. If the permissions are not correctly set, suggest adding the necessary permissions for the control of the financial dimension line by following the same path as in the standard environment.
  4. If the issue persists after adjusting permissions, consider testing in a standard environment without customizations to replicate the issue.
