What’s happening?
The system is throwing a warning message stating "unit of measure ID unfound" during the execution of planning jobs in Cloud Planning Optimization. This warning occurs despite the required unit of measure (UOM) existing in the system but with a different ID than what the planning tool is looking for.
Reason:
The warning message is by design and is caused by the deletion of units with related unit conversions that were once linked to a released product and processed by Planning Optimization. Even if the unit and unit conversion no longer exist, their record ID is still processed during the Planning Optimization run.
Resolution:
- The product group has noted this as a deliverable for future consideration (Deliverable Number: 964201). It is recommended to vote for a similar idea on the Ideas portal to help prioritize this feature request.
- Even though this is an issue, the warning does block or affect the result of Planning Optimization.
- If the warning persists, consider creating a new UOM for the item and deleting the old UOM, and then running Planning Optimization again to check if the warning appears.
